Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Sultero LLC collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run the marketplace and to keep you informed.
Information we collect
- Email signups. If you join our launch list, we collect your email address, whether you signed up as a shopper or a maker, and the date. Signups use double opt-in: you confirm your address by email before you are added.
- Account data (once accounts open). Name, email, and, for makers, the business and payout details required to sell and be paid.
- Order data (once checkout opens). Items ordered, shipping address, and order history. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by Sultero.
- Usage and analytics. Basic, aggregate information about how the site is used, and standard server logs, to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
- To send launch and, later, account and order updates you have asked for.
- To operate the marketplace, process orders, and pay makers.
- To keep the site secure, prevent abuse, and comply with the law.
Marketing email is optional and you can unsubscribe at any time. Every marketing message includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to be removed.
Sharing and third-party processors
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run Sultero, under agreements that limit their use of it, including:
- Payment processing to take payment and pay makers.
- Email delivery to send confirmation and update emails.
- Hosting and infrastructure to run the site.
- Advertising and analytics (such as Meta) to measure and improve our marketing.
We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the safety of our users.
Cookies and tracking
We use a small number of cookies for essential functions, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your preferences, and for analytics. We also use the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure the performance of our advertising and understand how visitors reach us; it may set cookies and share limited event data (such as page views and signups) with Meta. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Data retention and deletion
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@sultero.com.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including California and other US states with privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of certain sharing. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email support@sultero.com; we will not discriminate against you for doing so.
